There could be many reasons of why your medical policy will not pay claims on your surrogate pregnancy. One common cause of denial is your surrogate pregnancy claims are treated as a third party claim. This means if you, as the surrogate, are compensated in any way for your surrogate pregnancy, the insurance company has a right to repossess the dollars they paid on the surrogate pregnancy claims from you directly.
